Our Hammerfest group experiences run during the summer season (July 1 – October 1).

All experiences are guided in English & Norwegian and designed for small groups.
Weather in the Arctic can change quickly — programs may be adjusted for safety when needed.

Meet Reindeer (Best for first-time visitors)
Meet reindeer up close in a real reindeer‑herding area above Hammerfest.
Feed reindeer by hand (when conditions allow), then gather inside the lavvu for stories and joik.

Sámi Teambuilding (Best for companies)
An active, fun and memorable team experience on Salen Mountain — inspired by Sámi traditions and adapted for modern groups.
End with a warm lavvu gathering with simple food, hot drinks and cultural storytelling.

Sámi Cooking Experience (Best for warm, hands-on culture)
A cozy lavvu experience: bake traditional bread over the fire, brew coffee and prepare a meal together.
Perfect for incentives, families and groups that want culture through food.

• Group size: 5–25 (vegetarian option on request)
Want deeper cultural understanding?
If your group wants deeper context (history, seasons, migration and modern reindeer herding realities), add our in‑depth cultural talk in a traditional lavvu.

Pricing at a glance
• Sámi Teambuilding:
NOK 1500 per person (minimum booking NOK 15 000)
• Sámi Cooking:
NOK 2000 per person (minimum booking NOK 10 000)
• Deep Cultural Talk:
NOK 1500 per adult/teen, NOK 900 per child (minimum booking NOK 7 500)
• Meet Reindeer:
from NOK 600–1100 depending on age category

Q: What group sizes do you accept?
A: It depends on the experience. Teambuilding is designed for 10–35 participants (larger groups on request). Other experiences typically run in small groups.
Q: Can you adjust timing for our company schedule?
A: Often yes. Contact us with your preferred time window and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Q: Do we need special clothing?
A: For outdoor experiences on Salen Mountain, bring layers and good shoes. For lavvu experiences, comfortable clothing is fine (warm socks recommended).
Q: Can you handle dietary needs?
A: Yes. Vegetarian option is available on request for the cooking experience.
Q: Is alcohol included?
A: Alcohol is an optional add-on and is only served inside the lavvu and after competitions (teambuilding).
